• Piano 2.0 Syllabus 

This Level 2 piano course is designed to build upon foundational knowledge and expand practical skills across a range of musical styles. The curriculum includes: 

• Genre Exploration: Western music, Indian music, Old & New Bollywood songs, and Classic Hollywood songs. 

• Theoretical Concepts: Chord analysis, Scales, Scale chords, and understanding rhythm. 

• Technical Development: Speed Exercises, Indian Exercises, Western Exercises, Left-hand patterns, and integrated both-hands playing. 

• Repertoire: Western Piano pieces. 

• Instrumental Understanding: Functions of the keyboard. 

• Interactive Learning: A dedicated Q&A session.

What You'll Need 

To get the most out of this course, you’ll need one of the following instruments: 

• An acoustic or digital piano 

• A 5-octave keyboard with touch-sensitive keys 

• A MIDI keyboard 

• Printout of  the provided PDF materials.  

For the best results, we recommend practicing for at least 30-40 minutes every day. 

 

Please Note: This course is not for absolute beginners. You should already know the basic note names (e.g., C D E F / Sa Re Ga Ma) and major and minor chords to understand the lessons. The instructor primarily teaches in Hindi with some English.
