"Singing - 5" is an intensive, high-level course designed for vocalists dedicated to achieving mastery in performance and composition. This level shifts focus towards advanced vocal improvisation (both Raga-based and Bol Alaap) and deep technical knowledge, including the creation of your own Taans and complex Taal structures. You will explore a rich repertoire of classic and contemporary Bollywood songs rooted deeply in Indian Classical Music.

This course covers the most sophisticated aspects of Indian vocal performance: 

• Raga-Based Film Songs: Detailed study and performance of new and old Bollywood songs based on classical Ragas, focusing on full vocal details and nuanced delivery. 

• Improvisation Techniques: Intensive training in Raga-based Alaap and $Bol Alaap$ improvisation, teaching you how to spontaneously expand and interpret melodic themes using words and syllables. 

• Advanced Alankar: Introduction to Pentatonic Alankars (vocal exercises) within specific Ragas to enhance agility and melodic understanding. 

• Rhythmic Theory ($Taal$): Comprehensive explanation and practical application of various $Taals$ (rhythmic cycles) used in classical and light classical music. 

• Taan Composition: Step-by-step guidance on how to create and develop your own Taans (fast melodic runs), moving beyond mere replication to genuine musical creation. 

• Signature Repertoire: Master a collection of technically challenging and emotionally resonant songs, including: 

• "Phero Na Najariya" 

• "Mai Ri Main Kase" 

• "Man Tadpat"

• Language: The instructor primarily teaches in Hindi, with supporting explanations in English. 

Course Structure and Requirements: 

• Intensive Level: This is an advanced level focusing on deep creative and technical study. Following the recommended sequential order of the courses is critical for background knowledge.
